My new creation is inspired by my Great-Grandmother, Winnifred Tickle, whom I was lucky enough to know until I was eight years old. I have such fond memories of her. Winnie and her husband James, my Great-Grandad, kept the most immaculate rose garden behind their little two-up, two-down Victorian terrace house. I just know she would have adored this design, so I’m dedicating it to her memory.

The bodice is an elegant fake button front with beautifully craft pleating around the bust and shawl collar. The buttons have been inspired by my Grandmothers collection of 1940's and 50's buttons for a more authentic style. 

Capturing the elegance of the era, the full circle, box pleated skirt cinches in at the waistline to create a flattering silhouette with a length that rests just beyond knee.  Can be wore or without a petticoat for either a more A-line or full circle effect.
